  • Automatic Monitor

Greetings! Is their any way I can trigger a monitor to automatically run for a set period and then shutdown. I would like to run one starting at noon on Friday and ending on noon Saturday, but I don't want to come in and shut it down. Any ideas would be helpful. Shaun

    Automatic Monitor

Shaun, Probably for the best answer you might want to tell us what this program is doing over this time period. But, for some general ideas: Create a data area this program will monitor. Set up a scheduled job to run at the appropriate time that loads the "signal" into the data area. Create a program that scans all programs running on your system looking for the job name and ending it. This would be a scheduled job as well.
