    Go to the AS/400 Online Library at href="http://as400bks.rochester.ibm.com"> href="http://as400bks.rochester.ibm.com">http://as400bks.rochester.ibm.com Then go to the V4R1 books. Click on #4 Day-to-Day Operations. Then under OS/400 System Management, click on "Tips and Tools for Securing Your AS/400: SC41-5300". Be sure to read section 4.1.1 Migrating from the Security Toolkit for OS/400. Just an old mainframer caught in the Web!

      Rebecca, You need *SERVICE authority in your profile. You have to run the command STRSST to get to the option to start a trace.Regards. Jack
