  • A Simple Question from a Simple mind... Telnet Session.

SIGNOFF ENDCNN(*YES) does end a telnet session. To make thing easier, I duplicated the SIGNOFF command. The new command is called ENDTELNET and I changed it's default so that ENDCNN is *YES. Now, I just type ENDTELNET to end a telnet session.

SIGNOFF ENDCNN(*YES) will always terminate your sesssion. Terminating your line connection is something else. Are you using a dial-up line?

How dod you end a Telnet session from 1 AS/400 to another AS/400? I use the following command but signing off doesn't end the connection. TELNET RMTSYS('90.0.0.31')SIGNOFF ENDCNN(*YES) Thanks, I know this can't be that hard.
