Thanks Brian. Now I understand - I'm told the problem arrived after an unscheduled power down. It seems like I have to solve the lack of console before I can solve the lack of a clean IPL then - Another late night and rude words coming on... ARW -
SRC 27409010 - One of our systems is down!
Its late, The systems down, Ops Console is refusing to connect, and all I can get is an IPL which goes through various Cxxxxxxx SRC's then sticks at 27409010 What's this? Anyone on line who might know? Just don't mention IBM support to me at this time... Words will be said to local management when they arrive, all bright and perky after a night's sleep. I've tried all the online manuals and resources and print copies here. No reference to this SRC. Anyone?Comment

Have you IPL'd in service mode ? This should get you up and running enough to correct the main problem.. Late nights and rude words like candy to a AS/400 Admin
