I'm running V4R5 with 4 ASPs full of DLOs. I've been told I can only store 346,000 DLOs in an ASP, so I want to increase the number of ASPs on the system. What is the maximum number of ASPs I can store DLOs in under V4R5? Does this change under V5R1?

User ASPs - how many can I have?
On V4R5, you have 1 System ASP and 15 User ASPs, per KnowledgeBase document 19690531. Per http://www.iseries.ibm.com/tstudio/t...yslimitv51.htm: Under V5R1, you can have 1 System ASP, 31 User ASPs, and 67 Independent ASPs. Only user-defined file systems can be put on Independent ASPs, so your answer is 31. Also appears in KB document 23931042.
