G-Series for IBM OS/400 0Ultra Density Optical (UDO) libraries have been certified by IBM for operation in i5/OS and open system environments. Supported natively within the IBM OS/400 and i5/OS operating systems, the G-Series for IBM OS/400 libraries appear as a standard storage device without the need for additional library management software. These same libraries are also supported by IBM through the Tivoli Storage Manager Interface, which provides data and resource management for open system requirements.
