Harlosh was formed in 1993 with a vision to develop a flexible claims and underwriting engine to meet the challenges of the future insurance administration market. Richard Gordon, our Managing Director and original architect of the Harlosh Insurance Application, set out with the principles of designing flexible technologically advanced software that would not restrict an Insurance company in the design, rate or marketing of its products. His design principles encompassed a fresh approach to how an insurance administration system should be used. Also, harnessing the reliability and power of the IBM i-Series (AS/400), the most successful mid range server available, to release the first insurance software engine in 1998. Harlosh has a policy of organic growth and is wholly owned by its directors, with no third party investments. All our directors joined Harlosh with a shared vision, to deliver insurance software solutions that are developed in line with market needs and we continue to develop our software by working closely with our customers and active user group. In 2004, Harlosh released their latest browser based set of software modules, Insurance Faces. Developed to harness the power of java technology and the internet, to provide improved access, management and retrieval of information, the technologically advanced range InsuranceFaces modules provide an innovative approach to insurance administration. Our continued development on the IBM platform has ensured a close and active business partnership with IBM. Harlosh is one of the few IBM ISV Advantage partners in the world and hold IBM Premier Partner status. Harlosh are now considered to be a worldwide leader in the development and implementation of integrated insurance packages with a strong and growing customer base. Harlosh have now opened their new Brisbane office in order to support a new market initiative in Australia and New Zealand. InsuranceFaces has been developed to be ready for the demands set by this new market. As part of our company ethos, Harlosh takes quality very seriously and is EN ISO 9001:2000 accredited.
