Integration intended to streamline COVID-19 testing process and enable secure, verifiable digital credentials

IBM and CLX Health today announced plans to integrate IBM Digital Health Pass with CLX Health's TrustAssure platform to help provide individuals with a seamless, secure way to locate and schedule a COVID-19 test with a provider and create a verifiable credential to use, if needed, when returning to physical locations, such as an airplane, sports stadium or workplace. CLX TrustAssure is a global network of more than 15,000 labs across more than 82 countries.

System i Developer announces today that its 2021 Virtual RPG & DB2 Summit, scheduled for October 20-26, will be its final conference-style training event. Citing the projected long-term effects of COVID-19 on demand for in-person conferences, the group plans to sunset its cornerstone event to focus on training that developers can more easily schedule around their daily work.

Study shows global consumer optimism is high, with more than half of respondents surveyed saying that they expect a COVID-19 vaccine to keep them protected

According to the findings of a new global consumer study released by IBM's Institute for Business Value (IBV), respondents surveyed are mostly confident in the safety, effectiveness, and distribution of the COVID-19 vaccines and indicate a desire to return to 'normalcy' after being vaccinated. But different rules, personal preferences, and social norms formed during the last year means that key industries like retail, travel and transportation may need to provide more seamless, personalized marketing and client experiences, to help remain competitive and successfully engage customers.
