Zend Expands ZendCon PHP Conference, Announces First-Ever ZendCon Europe

Zend, the PHP Company, announced that registration is open for PHP 2013 (ZendCon), the world's premier PHP Conference. Zend is also announcing the expansion of ZendCon to include a sister conference, the first ever ZendCon Europe. At both events, leading developers and luminaries will gather to network, share tips and techniques, and delve deeply on topics ranging from mobile-first development to best practices for enterprise architecture, development and application management.

The PHP language is used pervasively used to write today's modern mobile and Web applications. According to Google, PHP powers 75% of the web, with Netcraft measuring usage at over 240 million applications and websites [1]. Surveys have shown that PHP developers are among the most advanced in adopting an API-based architectural model, with over 90% already working on mobile applications, and 79% leveraging open web standards-based architectures [2].
