Company claims title of world’s only dedicated IBM i high availability vendor with Premier Business Partner status.

Maxava, a global provider of IBM i high availability (HA) software, has announced that it has been awarded Premier Business Partner Status by IBM.  Maxava is the world’s only fully dedicated global IBM i HA and disaster recovery (DR) vendor approved for IBM Premier Business Partner status, according to the company.

Maxava has been granted Premier status for its exceptional HA/DR solutions for the IBM i platform and for the company's continuing success in the IBM i marketplace, Maxava said. IBM awards Premier Business Partner status, which is its highest partner recognition level, to select partners that have demonstrated superior skills and market success.

“We are delighted to be awarded Premier Partner status with IBM,” says Allan Campbell, president and CEO of Maxava. "It tops off a great tenth anniversary year for us and is a fitting tribute to the hard work and dedication of our staff and resellers, and to the support of a tremendous, and rapidly growing, group of very savvy customers.”

"Premier Partner status allows us to even more effectively collaborate with IBM and continue to deliver organizations of all size the very best enterprise strength technology for their IBM i HA/DR requirements,” adds Simon O’Sullivan, executive vice president, Maxava.  “It is great news, we achieved a substantial increase in new customers in 2010 as compared to 2009, and we are looking forward to another strong year in 2011,” he adds.

Achieving the Premier Business Partner designation with IBM confirms Maxava’s commitment to developing stronger and closer relationships with industry partners, the company says.  Maxava earns a full range of benefits that come with Premier partner status, including high levels of product choice, technology expertise, and enhanced technical support.

Maxava's product line includes Maxava HA Data Stream, Maxava HA SMB and Maxava HA Enterprise. These products have seen a dramatic increase in sales and deployments with new customers signing on and additional licenses being sold into existing accounts.  The Maxava HA Suite provides the real-time replication and enterprise strength disaster recovery that many organizations urgently require for compliance purposes and to protect their critical corporate data, the company says.

Maxava's suite of HA solutions incorporates the features, reliability and ease of use that are critical for any IBM i shop, regardless of size, the company notes.  The underlying quality, architecture and engineering are the same whether a customer chooses the basic replication product, Maxava HA Data Stream, or the top-end Maxava HA Enterprise solution.  Maxava's philosophy is that the protection of data is critical to all of its customers whether they are a small organization, or one of its largest, international, enterprise clients.

Maxava is a worldwide provider of innovative Monitoring, High Availability and Disaster Recovery software solutions for the IBM i platform and other systems. Customers have been using Maxava HA software for more than 16 years to ensure business continuity, reduce risk and meet regulatory requirements.
