NTRU Cryptosystems Inc., a leading provider of embedded security software solutions, has announced that Intel Corporation and NTRU are collaborating to provide Trusted Computing Group (TCG) solutions to the PC industry by combining Intel's integrated TPM solution with the NTRU TCG Middleware Suite.

By combining offerings from two companies that have helped lead the standardization and development of Trusted Computing solutions, Intel and NTRU provide PC OEMs with an easy choice for selecting the highest quality and most flexible solution available today, the companies say.

"Integrated TPM will bring additional benefits to Intel's corporate platforms. We are glad to work with companies like NTRU, with their expertise and market acumen, to enable a complete, reliable and cost effective TPM solution to the industry," said Joshua Newman, Intel chipset and graphics marketing manager.

The NTRU TMS is a market-leading trusted computing middleware solution focused on providing strong security that operates across multiple hardware platforms and software environments, the company says. The NTRU TMS is the only trusted computing middleware solution on the market today that allows PC OEM's a choice in selecting the best software applications in combination with their preferred hardware, according to the company. Now that the NTRU TMS is fully integrated with the Intel TPM, PC OEM's should have more flexibility to design the security solutions that best fit their customers' needs.

"We are very pleased to collaborate with Intel and offer NTRU's world-class software solutions in tandem with the Intel TPM," said Ari Singer, director of trusted computing at NTRU. "Intel has been a leader in the development of the TCG standards from the beginning, and the delivery of their own TPM will continue to drive TPM adoption. Our longstanding close relationship with Intel helped make the integration of our products a complete success and we look forward to finally being able to bring our combined solution to market."
