Asigra stand #822 will be located in Hall S1 of the convention centre. In addition to exhibiting, Asigra Executive Vice President Eran Farajun will be participating as a panelist on Wednesday March 11th from 1:50-2:30 pm GMT in the Service Provider and Cloud Ecosystem Theatre in a session titled “What Are the Different Security Implications of Private, Public and Hybrid Cloud for Service Providers, Telcos and Cloud Ecosystems?” Along with co-panelists David Suárez, CTO and COO of Nexica and Addy Nuñez Beltre, CEO of Clicly SL, Farajun will discuss the security challenges in these environments. The presentation will include five minutes of Q&A.

Asigra Cloud Backup Version 13 -- which recently won TechTarget’s Product of the Year Award -- is a comprehensive end-to-end agentless data recovery solution that provides converged data protection for cloud-based disaster recovery and backup of physical, virtual, cloud, and mobile environments. The platform and device agnostic software solution can be deployed as a public, private, or hybrid cloud through certified Asigra Hybrid Partners. The solution, delivered as a service by IT service providers or as software for private cloud use, is ideal for organizations challenged with data protection complexity or compliance concerns where data security is assured with NIST FIPS 140-2 certification.

Among the new version 13 features to be promoted at this event are Disaster Recovery-as-a-Service (DRaaS) enablement featuring VMware vSphere replication, support for Microsoft Office 365 and Docker Containers, endpoint data loss prevention, open infrastructure support for FreeBSD on ZFS and CentOS, and integration with Linear Tape File System (LTFS) for low-cost and long-term retention of backup data.

The Asigra Recovery License Model is the industry’s first and only recovery-based business model. The breakthrough pricing model was developed as a response to the growing problem of unfair pricing in the backup and recovery market, and is considered a game changer for backup software and service customers. The model aligns pricing with the true value of backup -- data recovery -- by decoupling backup and recovery licenses.

“We’re very excited to participate at Cloud Expo Europe and share the news about Asigra Cloud Backup Version 13, which was recently named the Backup/DR Product of the Year by Storage Magazine. We also look forward to presenting our innovative Recovery Pricing Model which has been instrumental in helping service providers cost-effectively manage and protect growing data volumes,” said Farajun. “It’s a very influential event for the industry, and we’re proud to be among the record number of suppliers who will be showcasing advanced technologies at the event.”
