The first tutorial in this series showed you how to configure your workbench to provide the best System i editing environment. However, before you can actually do any work, you'll need to connect to your System i host. The connection process has a few quirks (such as "what is a profile?"), and this session will walk you through them. By the end of the tutorial, you'll have set up a connection and used the built-in verification features of WDSC to be sure your WDSC installation is as productive as possible.Joe Pluta is the founder and chief architect of Pluta Brothers Design, Inc.
