Folks who are fans of terminal services may not want to jump on the 2003 Server bandwagon too soon. Just as we got all our client machines to Win2k Pro and XP Pro so we can connect to Win2K server without paying our Redmond Friends for each TS-CAL, Windows 2003 busts our budgets by now requiring ALL connections, regardless of client OS, pay for a TS-CAL. Folks may see Terminal Services as worth it, however we're no longer going to be subject to Microsoft's capricious licensing tactics. We are staying on Windows 2000 until we can transition to Linux. Enough is enough!

Phelgren, As always, business decisions based upon emotion are amusing. ;-) And, as always, seriously flawed. I can vouch, personally, that Linux does NOT have a lower TCO than Windows server. chuck Opinions expressed are not necessarily those of my employer.
