Since removing the order by the process has speeded up tremendously. We have also stopped daily IPL's. The PF is built by a transfer request generated from our UNIX Server and the data goes directly from the UNIX Server to a PF on the iSeries. In the past when that file had a key on the physical the transfer took no time at all it was the sequencing of the keys at the end of the copy that took forever. Everything is cooking along now with increased efficiency which was the object all along.
