SQL Line Counter function

Recently I saw a function that creates a line counter. I would like to do something similar to the faolowing: Select LineCount(5000), Value from FileA which would return: 5000 Value0 5001 Value1 5002 Value2 5003 Value3 5004 Value4 I just can't find the email with the information anymore.
