  • User Not Authorized to Own Profile

When some users are executing crtdupobj command for a file to library qtemp they are getting an authority error. It appears that the command is checking to see if they have authority for creating the file. While checking the user profile we get "Attempt to use permanent system object USERNAME without authority. The file is owned by QPGMR. The file has QPGMR with authority of *ALL allowed and PUBLIC with authority of *ALL allowed. The users profile associates it with a group profile designating that the owner of created objects is owned by that group profile. Below is a short excerpt from the job log. Any feedback would be helpful. The problem is remedied when I use the edtobjaut command on the users own user profile. I press F6 and specify their user name with authority of *ALL. Then the user seems to have authority to their own user profile.
