  • Apache server migration question

We're getting ready to upgrade to V5R3. We have several fairly simple server instances and a complex one; none use Websphere, if that matters. I'm hoping that the migration wizard will prove sufficient. When migrating from the Original to the Apache server, do you have any advice or notes of quirks? Let's say I have a server instance named IMAGING. Can the new Apache one also be named IMAGING, or should I choose a name like IMAGING_A? Are server instance names used anywhere outside of the servers, i.e., is there anything else I'd have to change if the migrated server has a different name? I presume the process would be something like this: a) end the Original instance; b) run the migration wizard; c) set the Original instance to not auto-start; and d) start the new instance. TIA, Ken
