IBM has improved how they show PTF details on sites like "PTFs By Available Date" http://www-912.ibm.com/a_dir/as4ptf....YDATE?OpenView The PTF now has a clickable link to the APAR it fixes, and one to the superseding PTF, if any. It also shows if the PTF is part of a cume package. For example, here's a link to V5R3 PTF SI21811 http://www-912.ibm.com/a_dir/as4ptf....8?OpenDocument I often go to PTFs By Date; for DB PTFs in particular, IBM often releases several on the same day where some are superseded by others on that day's list. Before this, I would scroll to the bottom of a PTF to see which PTFs it was superseding, then back out and see if the superseded PTF was on the list for that day. Now I can just check the top of an earlier PTF to see if it's superseded. (That sounds convoluted but it's hard to describe in words.)
