Hi... Can any one please share some information pertained to the precautions that need to be considered while migrating data from one AS/400 to other AS/400 machine.Especially when there are some DUMB terminals in use within the network. Thanks in Advance, AS400 Friend

You didn't state it, but assuming the terminals are twinax connected, and have no PC capabilities, you actually have less precautions to be concerned about. One thing that was always a problem with these terminals: When a user powers off before signing off, the session remains active for a period of time. The user cannot start a new session until the old job is cancelled. Dave
