I knew that the iSeries & pSeries where closely related, but I didn't know just how close until I stumbled across these two items! I accidently found a Redbook with the title "i5/OS on IBM eServer p5 Models - A Guide to Planning, Implementation, and Operation" at: http://www.redbooks.ibm.com/redbooks/pdfs/sg248001.pdf Did anyone else know that you could run i5/OS on a p5? I suspected it, but this confirms it. And as for the hardware: http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infoce...iphad/f57x.htm It seems the p5 & i5 model 570 are identical - or at least pretty nearly so. It's interesting to see how the "different" machines are presented. Tom D.
