We need to send a notification , Alert / message to an MVS (OS/390) system. Any ideas on how this can be done? The two systems are connected over a private WAN using Cisco routers.
This may be accomplished using an 80 byte physical file on the AS/400 that contains the MVS JCL statements, and the SBMNETJOB command, which will transmit the file to an MVS reader. Dave
