I'm trying to find information that will allow me to send commands from the AS/400 to a 390. Then I want the 390 to process data and send the information back to the AS/400. The AS/400 will then use the data. Any ideas? I have heard something about CICS and MQ Series. I don't know what either of them are. Looking for a way to accomplish this interface with or without the CICS and/or MQ Series. Any information or direction towards documentation would be very helpful. Thanks in advance
