We are in search of an Applications Manager to oversee merchandising and retail areas in an AS400 and Web/PC environment. This is a permanent position with an established, privately held company offering competitive salary and benefits. Will oversee applications strategy, 4-5 developers, and assist in merchandise application planning for future of company. Will also have project management, business continuity planning, resource development/mentoring. REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field. Requires 8-15 years of progressive IT experience. Requires Retail/Merchandising applications experience. Would prefer a coder now in project management, but will look at straight project manager w/retail and merchandising experience. Must have proven work experience in appliactions management/planning in an AS400 and PC/Client Server/Web (Java, JSP) environment. Any EDI and Essbase experience a plus.
