This position requires SHIFT WORK. HOURS/SHIFTS ARE AS FOLLOWS: Mon - 6:00AM - 2:00PM Tues - 7:00AM - 3:00PM or 8:00AM - 4:00PM Wed - 7:00AM - 3:00PM or 8:00AM - 4:00PM Thurs - 2:00PM - 10:00PM Fri - Off Sat - Off Sun - 7:00AM - 3:00PM or 8:00AM - 4:00PM Performs routine operation functions which include submitting jobs, monitoring messages, labeling/storing tapes, managing job/output queues, monitoring system resources, distributing reports, performing backups and trouble shooting hardware problems. Maintain the operations procedures. Assist in researching and documenting processing failures. Recognize and forecast operations problems and report them to their supervisor. Performs audits on new processes and maintain procedures/schedules. Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of iSeries operations experience (must be recent). Knowledge of printer hardware troubleshooting and printer "user" maintenance. Must be available to work multiple shifts. Must be dependable and professional. Skills/experience desired: Knowledge of PCs and Windows, Desktop troubleshooting experience, Windows 2000 Desktop , BRMS and/or Arch serve software packages, Microsoft Desktop application software experience.
