Have partition setup with DBCS English as primary language and Japanese as secondary language. Want to use copy of current application that we use in our main office. Current application was developed in a single byte environment. IBM said that application needs to be recreated in a DBCS environment. Want to allow Japanese users to enter data in their language in selected fields, stored in the database, and printed on their external documents. Have reviewed several IBM manuals. Still not sure what data type value to use for identified fields in database, display files, and printer files. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
