  • Required logon into AS/400 web page

We've setup our main web cgi library, called WEBAPPS, as a secure library that requires user authentication. This means that when a user accesses a cgi program in that library a signon dialog box pops up and asks for the user ID and password. This is very useful as I then can know who is using a particular cgi program. I'd like to know if there is a way to use the Windows XP authentication to bypass that popup window. In other words, can the Windows user id/password combination be used to automatically authenticate the user to the AS/400? I still want authentication to know who is signed on, but I don't want to the user to enter a user id and password on a dialog box once they are logged into Windows. TIA, chuck Opinions expressed are not necessarily those of my employer.
