encrypting backups
I have been asked to investigate how to encrypt backups of our i5 OS/400 server. We are using 3580 LTO-2 tape drives. I don't see anything obvious in the system save commands. Any thoughts? Thanks. Milan -

IBM is going to release an encryption function as part of BRMS.... Just don't have a time frame on it...They implied availability on next release of OS....They do see this as an important functionality that is currently missing from BRMS....Comment
