The Retrieve Program Information (QCLRPGMI) and Retrieve Service Program Information (QBNRSPGM) APIs return activation group information. You could generate a list of the *PGMs and *SRVPGMs and then call the appropriate Retrieve API to determine which are not in the *DFTACTGRP. The APIs can be found in the Information Center under Programming/APIs/APIs by category/Program and CL Command Bruce Vining

Need to know the activation group of programs

Hi, I need to check if any ILE programs have an activation group not equal to *DFTACTGRP. Does anyone knows to accomplish that. I have to create a program that finds out which objects have an activation group different from *DFTACTGRP. This will part of the software upgrade process. Any suggestion will be greatly appreciate. Thanks!
