I believe that the CPYFRMPCD (and CPYTOPCD) only work with directories under QDLS. You can see these by using the WRKFLR command. HTH, Joe

Going Nuts!!! The Copy From PC Document (CPYFRMPCD) command is, as I understand it, a great way to port pc documents from a PC to the AS/400. Does this command copy a PC Doc from a Mapped Network Folder (or a network folder residing on the AS/400)? I seem to have trouble with the "From Folder" parameter in that all of the folders I attemp to enter are not found. I think that this command limits to what I like to call "old officevision" folders and not network (LAN) folders. Can anyone shed light on this????? -

Look into CPYFRMIMPF. It does pretty much the same thing as CPYFRMPCD plus lot more. It can also access the rest of the IFS.Comment
