The tomcat version that was bundled with Apache 2.0.18 on the iseries was tomcat 3.2.4. The group ptfs that came out on 12/09/2002 (sf99156 for v5r1 and sf99098 for v5r2) updated Apache to 2.0.43 but didnt indicate the Tomcat version. Does anyone know what version of Tomcat is included with the Apache upgrade to 2.0.43? Tomcat 3.2 is the absolute min to run Struts 1.1, but Struts runs better with Tomcat 4.x. Additionally the Sun Java Web Services Developer Pack is distributed based on Tomcat 4.1.12. I really need to know the latest Tomcat version used on the iseries so we can model our development environment as closely to the deployment environment as possible. Alex

tomcat version 3.2.4?
It does appear that Tomcat 3.2.4 is the version IBM bundled with Apache 2.0.43. However, David Morris has a great article at http://www.midrangeserver.com/mpo/mp...2-story02.html. In it he verifies that you can install any version of Tomcat you want onto the as400.
