  • Running Java from iSeries Navigator

Hello, Anyone tried doing this? In iNav you navigate through the IFS to your folder containing the class files and/or jar files. Right click on th file and from the menu choose Associated Java Program-->Run . . . This brings up a prompt (for my jar file) that allow me to specify various options. One of these, naturally, is the Classpath which defaults to the path to the folder containing my jar file and the path and file name of my jar file e.g. /usr/local/classes:/usr/local/classes/myjarfile.jar. This is all fine but my app uses the jt400.jar file too which means that I have to manually add the path to this jar file too. I've set the system level CLASSPATH envvar to the full path to jt400.jar but iNav doesn't pick this up. Anyone know a way to get iNav to pick up the system CLASSPATH value as well? Thanks Glenn
