Hi, I wrote a Java email engine for a client a couple of years ago. The engine uses record level access to read a prepared message from a multi-member physical file, and emails it to the target address. Since installation of V5R3, the routine has been failing while trying to perform record level access. The error messages just say that the request could not be performed. The object level security on the file is PUBLIC *ALL, the routine works in all other aspects other than the record level access, and I can't think of anything that may be causing this. Can anyone help please, we are really stuck and urgently need a solution to the problem. Best wishes, Jenny.
