From AS400 want to call SQL procedure or VB script passing a parameter. SQL or VB running on separate server not on AS400. Can this be done using RPG or CL program? If this can be done would you supply sample code.
I think the tool you need for this is called DRDA (Dynamic Remote Data Access). I believe its part of a product that IBM sells called DB2 Connect or perhaps Data Propegator. I have never used it, but read about it a couple times.
