QSHELL from RPGLE

Wow that was quick! I've spent some time w/Google today and did come across this. One thing that he's doing that I'm not is setting up descriptors 0,1, & 2. Do you think that this is required? In my particular case a file will result from the command I want to run, which is ZIP. Are STDIN, STDOUT, STDERR mandatory??? Tom D.

QSHELL from RPGLE

I'm trying to use the QzshSystem api from RPGLE, but it's been futile. ERRNO 3025 "No such path or directory" results every time.

For now I've resorted to calling "system" to call "QSH CMD(... " but it bothers me to have this extra layer.

Any ideas on how I might resolve the "No such path or directory" error? I've been ripping my hair out on this.
