In regards to Jeff Olen's RPG/PHP MAIL tech tip from July 2009:
This is a great tip. I've written an RPG program just like this that calls a ZEND PHP program to send out e-mails. I've run into an occaisional snag that I can't figure out though.
Occaisionally, I get a QSH005 error (exit status of 1) stating that it could not open the input file (which is the ifs path followed by the .php file/program name). This error is only occuring within a batch process. The batch program calls the rpg email program directly (i've shortend the parm lengths). While this error is occuring in the batch process, I can call the process interactively and it works fine.
I can't figure out what would cause this error...and why it only happens some of the time.
Any guidance would be appreciated! I'd be happy to answer any specifics about my code.
