IFS inherit public access

OK, I'll ask it another way: In an ILE program, how can I create a file on the IFS that will inherit the *PUBLIC authority from the directory its created in. OR How can I create a file on the IFS and control the *PUBLIC authority to it. I've been using the C prototypes open, close etc, and IBM suggests using fopen since the parameters are a little more "visable/understandable" Trevor

How do I use the "file mode" parameter of the open API to create an IFS file with "inherit parent directories *PUBLIC authorities". i.e. What's the hex or decimal value for the O_INHERITMODE flag? Trevor
