    I believe you will find that DLTUSRPRF OWNOBJOPT(*CHGOWN xxxx) will work quite well with Integrated File System objects.

    ...Just make sure your using QSECOFR (or a profile with sufficient authority). Also, if you use Adopt Authority, make sure it runs under USER *OWNER.

      Our iSeries is running V5R2. What is the best method of changing the ownership of objects in the IFS when deleting a user profile? I do not believe the DLTUSRPRF command will change the ownership of objects in the IFS as it does in libraries.

        Ownership of IFS objects can be changed via WRKLNK and entering multiple option 9 and on parm line NEWOWNER(newown).
