This is the signon used for LPD to receive output to be printed on an iSeries printer. For example - if you have another iSeries using remote writers to send reports to printers on this iSeries, it will use this function.

QTMPLPD - Invalid Signon Attempts
I create a daily report showing all invalid signon attempts w/profile. I always see QTMPLPD - ALLOW REMOTE LPR REQUESTERS generates alot of these attempts. The profile is always set to disabled. Anyone out there know what this profile does and why I'm getting invalid signon attempts? TIA -
