Kim, It sounds like you are trying to display the attributes of a device description by using a CHGDEVAPPC command instead of the DSPDEVD command. Also, since *SAME is the only thing displayed for the parameter it sounds like the prompt override program for the CHGDEVAPPC command cannot find the APPC device description. Perhaps the device is locked or you used the wrong device name. Ed Fishel

APPC Device Configuration Security setting - HELP!!
When creating an APPC Device, there is setting for SECURELOC. The default for this is *NO which is what we use to configure. However, when I try to verify the setting is *NO, I can only see *SAME. My auditor's want to see this setting is at *NO but I can't find any way to view this. -
