    yes, we are. IBM suggested we change the save while active parameter from *SYSDFN to *SYS to beat the 16mb definition issue. We did this and the backup bombed out completly after that. WITH *SYSDFN, the backup would go to the next obj. Our save files are set to *nomax.

        [*]synlib OPTION is used for multiple libraries. our operation is for one library.

            has anyone seen this error? Here is what we did so far, we're doing a backup to disk then to tape. we up the size limit on the threshold. the backup worked for 2 days then it went back to the size limit exceeded error. any help would be greatly appreciated G Trevino, III Houston
