Get a Clear Picture of Your Database

On my system, ops nav shows my as400 twice, once by ip address and once by name. Under name, there is no database tab. Under Ip address there is. How do I get the database tab to show up under both?

Hi "dalejanus", You do not have the complete iSeries Navigator installed. You have the default installation that just shows Basic Operations. To get the Database option (and others) you need to perform a "selective setup" (Start/All Programs/IBM iSeries Access for Windows/Selective Setup). If you do not have the iSeries disks handy you can find the image on your iSeries in the directory QIBM/Proddata (sorry, don't remember the exact sub directory within that.) You will probably need administrator rights on your PC to do the install. HTH Paul Tuohy
