You need to configure a 5250 emulation via Client Access. The web client only will access the HMC gui management. Here are some helpful links: FSP Update HMC FAQs HMC Error Codes FSP and HMC corresponding levels HMC remote 5250 configuration HMC Upgrades and Fixes HMC recommend fixes Extra note: When upgrading the Server Firmware be sure that your HMC is current before updating the Firmware. Always ensure the HMC is ahead or matching the FSP level.

hi there, i just want to confirm whether we can have a 5250 emulation from a remote web client? i have loaded the wsm from my pc and did not have luck to get the 5250 emulation. the selection was not possible. can you help to confirm. thanks -
