Has anyone noticed that with V5R3 that when you do the CPYF command, and you specify CRTF(*YES), and if the file already exists, that no error is kicked out? On V5R2 and below it used to fail when the file already existed. Now it doesn't. I don't see a PTF for this anywhere which makes me wonder if IBM did this by design.

What does your statement look like? I just tried it on V5R2 and if I specifiy MbrOpt(*Replace), then there is not an error and that's the behavior I remember for any release. Bill
