The October 2001 issue of "iSeries NEWS" contains forecasting charts on the bottom of page 14. The charts heading reads "Increasing Performance Could Put the Squeeze on iSeries Numbers". One chart shows the iSeries Installed Performance in terms of CPWs growing by a factor of about 60% from 2001 to 2006. The other chart shows the number of active iSeries AS/400s installed systems declining from about 325,000 to 250,000 over the same time period. The low-end systems show the most significant decline going from 169,000 to 111,000 systems.
