Group, I am seeing an increase in the number of multi-threaded jobs on our systems. This is forcing a change in the way that our systems are configured and tuned. I have also found that there are application design issues that need to be addressed. The AS/400 manuals have very little information on setting up a mixed multi-thread/single-thread environment. I am wondering what others have done to address this situation. Some areas that we are trying to address are: Job's generally require more resources than a thread however, the system treats them equally. Some commands like OVRDBF are not supported in secondary threads. Thanks, David Morris
