How do I know if a job is already running?????

Is there a way on the AS400 to find out if a job is already running. I know on the S36, we had the 'if active' command. Is there a similiar command on the 400, please let me know. I've been looking for a while on this. If anyone has a solution, please email me at dogbase@dogbase.com. I have a job that need to run in only one occurance on the system.

RIck, There are several threads on this subject. Go to the SEARCH located on the main forums page and look for "If Active". There are too many iterations for me to post a single link. -bret
