Can anyone think of a way to retreive as/400 system information like the print out you get from Hardware service Manager and post it to a non AS/400 web server. We have several AS/400's and would like to automatically post the configs to the web server for our customers.

Posting Hardware Config on Web
You could copy the spool file (CPYSPLF) to a database file. After you have the data you could write an RPG or COBOL program to wrap the HTML code around it and output it to another file. You could then FTP the formatted file to the web server. Hope this helps. John Panzenhagen

The V4R3 manual can be found href="http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/cgi-bin/bookmgr/BOOKS/QB3AMJ02/CONTENTS">he re. For other versions, go to the main href="http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/pubs/html/as400/online/homeeng1.htm">online library (the link is for the English version) and look for the title: Title: OS/400 Hardware Resource APIs V4R3 Hope this helps. src="//www.zappie.net/java/_derived/index.htm_cmp_zero110_vbtn_p.gif" width="140" height="60" border="0" alt="Zappie's Java Home" align="middle"> Zappie! - where the AS/400 speaks Java with an RPG accent Home of PBD1.2, the FREE Java/400 Client/Server Toolkit
