  • CGI problem

Dear friends: I wrote a CGI program (in RPG IV) for a local business. It lets them inquire into sales orders. A couple of weeks ago I needed to use the web to download a file they needed, so I set up dial-up networking for my ISP & got on the web. Now when they try to use the CGI program I wrote, a msg pops up asking them if they want to connect to the Internet or work offline. If they choose to work offline, the browser will not run the CGI program. Yet there is no need to connect to the Internet. Can anybody tell me how to fix this situation? Thanks very much in advance. CGI problem

Ted, A wild shot: When connection method(s) are defined in the Internet Options applet in Control Panel, there are options to 1. Only connect with this method 2. Connect only if not already connected (backup to a LAN connection) 3. Never connect My guess is this connection has option #1. Bill
