Steve - a man's got to know his limits (<<<=== read in your best Clint Eastwood voice) and I doubt I would survive long after I made that call..... Your quite correct that mail is the principal vector for this type of problem. Outlook COULD be improved to provide strong virus protection on its own, i.e. settings to limit the behavior of attachments or at least integrate to your virus detection so that all attachments are scanned w/o having to have it running all the time. Ultimately though, a knowledgable community is the strongest defense. Its surprising who all has been caught flatfoot here. Must be a lot of lonely people out there....
